Newsweek just released its list of America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2024 (overall) and Accurate Home Care made the list, ranking with five out of five stars.
Studies over the years have found companies that create great overall workplaces are more likely to have engaged workers who care about their jobs. In April of this year, however, Gallup reported U.S. worker engagement hit an 11-year low, falling to 30 percent of full- and part-time employees feeling “highly involved and enthusiastic about their work and workplaces.” It added that the drop was most noticeable among remote, hybrid and younger workers.
Newsweek teamed up with Plant-A Insights Group to spotlight the companies across America whose employees find it easy to stay engaged. They also examined topics like compensation and benefits, training and career progression, work-life balance and company culture. More than 250,000 U.S. employees were interviewed for the ranking, resulting in more than 1.5 million company reviews spanning 78 individual sectors. Also, post-survey desk research considered each ranked company’s online mentions, diversity and inclusion ratings, and reviews of senior management.
“The highly-regarded companies ranked here likely enjoy stronger client relationships and higher retention rates, because better workplaces benefit everyone,” said Nancy Cooper, Newsweek’s global editor in chief.
This America’s Greatest Workplace (overall) award follows three others Accurate has received from Newsweek this year. The others were in January for being one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity in 2024, in February, for being one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women, and in April for being one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Mental Wellbeing. “I continue to be impressed by the caliber and professionalism of Accurate employees,” said Accurate’s President and CEO Bill English. “We have a GREAT team here, and I’m proud to be associated with each and every one of our team members.”
