What is CFSS, and what does it mean for you?
Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) is a Minnesota health care program that offers flexible options to meet the unique needs of people. CFSS will replace personal care assistance (PCA) and the Consumer Support Grant (CSG). CFSS will cover the same main services as PCA.
During your next annual reassessment for PCA/CFSS please note that you should select “agency model” vs the “budget model,” if you wish to continue services with Accurate Home Care. “Agency model” means Accurate recruits, hires and trains staff; takes care of staffing coordination for you, manages staff performance, and does other things that a “budget model” does not provide. Accurate does not offer a “budget model” option and as such, if you sign up under “budget model,” Accurate can no longer serve you.
