Accurate Home Care was the first home care company in the State of Minnesota to offer it’s employees the cutting edge ICHRA – Individual Contribution Health Reimbursement Account for health insurance. The ICHRA allows employers to subsidize individual health insurance plans. Accurate employees can use their partially-company-funded ICHRAs (pronounced “ick-rahs”) to buy individual-market health insurance plans, including insurance purchased on the public exchanges formed under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
These plans have saved our employees (in many cases) close to 50% of their premium costs under the old, group medical plan we had through Blue Cross. This is a savings that goes directly to their wallets and gives them extra cash to spend as they see fit.
