Accurate Home Care is pleased to announce that Emily Scofield has been promoted to Benefits Coordinator effective Oct. 7. Emily has been with the company for about seven months, working as a staffing coordinator while finishing obtaining her master’s degree in human resources from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota—Minneapolis. She graduated in August.
Emily worked for about two years as a staffing coordinator for the Emily Program, an eating disorder clinic, and as a personal care assistant at a long-term care facility. She worked those jobs while obtaining an undergraduate degree in health services management from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities.
Why join Accurate? “I was looking forward to a change that would utilize my degree more, and I had a mutual friend who works here as a staffing coordinator,” she says. “It’s been a very rewarding position so far and I’m excited to expand my horizons with Accurate.”
After getting up to speed in her new position, Emily plans to take additional training to become a Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional. Accurate pays for such training, one of the many benefits it provides to its employees.
Congratulations, Emily, on your promotion and your newly obtained master’s degree!
